Joy T. Cowan, a North Carolina-based woodturner, specializes in modern lamp design. In addition to her producing her own work, Joy teaches "Lamps on the Lathe" at John C. Campbell Folk School, is a past President of Chapel Hill Woodturners and a Club Liaison for the American Association of Woodturner's Women in Turning.
